A Dream I Had Last Night

Last night I had a dream,
A dream that dreamers often lie.
I’m trying to find out what this may meen,
But my strength and time keep going by.

I try to look deep inside my soul,
But what I see is as dark as coal.
I hope hat it will be cleanse,
But this is a wish for me to chase.

The worst thing is to wake
From a dream so fresh and pure,
The only thing in life that is not fake,
The only thing that is possible to cure.

There’s shallowness in my heart
But shallow is what I’m aren’t.
To be happy I hope
But I know that I will be not.

Last night I had a dream,
A dream that dreamers often lie.
I know that I can’t be too keen.
All I know-I have to hold on to what is my.
